Hi, I'm Shanon.  I'm a songwriter in Nashville, Tn.  You don't know me and if you're like most, right about now you're thinking, "Well, then you can't be a good one."  Actually I'm a great songwriter.  And, I'm not the best songwriter you've never heard of.

See, I've got some friends who are great song writers.  They've written some of your favorite tunes.  Songs that will forever be played on whatever's left of the radio.  Great songs, by great song writers, all with one thing in common... For every song of theirs you know, they have a bunch just sitting on the shelf that no one has ever heard.  Well, some of them have asked me to help them share some of that great music with the world. That is the foundation of the podcast Best Songs Never Heard.  And I'll get to that...

See, I also have some friends who have nothing to do with the music industry.  They are as far from professional songwriters as anyone could imagine.  Ordinary people, average Joes, everyday Janes.  And, they all have one thing in common...  At some point, every one of them has told me they could never write a song.  Well, I'm batting a thousand at proving them all wrong.   Everybody Has A Story is a podcast dedicated to those songs.

Growing up my mom would tell me, "Shanon, everyone has song in them.  Because everybody has a story.  Every one of those stories is a song just waiting to happen."  It's become a mission of mine.  I'm Shanon.  I'm a songwriter.  Thank you for listening.
